Thus far I've been a blog virgin, but what a way to pop the proverbial cherry!
Even in the early days of our relationship, Heather and I talked about giving everything up, throwing a few t-shirts in a backpack and heading off into the great wide yonder.... fast forward 2 years and we're about to set off on our next huge adventure.
2010 has been the most exciting year of my life so far, after buying our first house as a couple in February and getting married in April, the next 8 or so months are just going to be the cherry on the icing on the cake. I couldn't pick a better travel buddy either, although we will bicker (we're married after all) there really is no-one in the world I'd rather share this experience with.
So I have a week of work left to go and then after a trip to visit our family in Savannah GA, the departure date will nearly be upon us!!
